Lois M. Martin Senior Vice President & CFO, Capella Education Company
Lois M. Martin has served as Capella Education Company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2004. She is also a member of the board of directors of ADC, Inc., a publicly held, global supplier of network infrastructure, and MTS Systems Corporation, a publicly held, global manufacturer of mechanical testing solutions. From 2002 to 2004, Martin was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at World Data Products, and from 1993 to 2001, she served in a number of executive positions at Deluxe Corporation, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. From 1996 to 2001, Martin also served as secretary/treasurer for the Deluxe Corporation Foundation and the W.R. Hotchkiss Foundation, a provider of education and other grant funding to nonprofit organizations. Martin began her career at Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) and earned her CPA while working there. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College.
Robin J. Engelson Managing Director, Lazard Middle Market
Robin J. Engelson is Managing Director and Head of Lazard Middle Market's private placement advisory services practice, raising non-control debt and equity, and arranging acquisition financing for sell-side M&A transactions. She has more than 20 years of middle market financing experience and has financed more than $5 billion in transactions across various industries. Prior to joining Goldsmith Agio Helms (now Lazard Middle Market), she founded and was President and Chief Executive Officer of Sapphire Financial Group, a financial advisory consulting firm, and was a Strategic Partner with Goldsmith Agio Helms. Prior to that, she was a Senior Vice President at GE Capital, a Vice President and Group Head at The Bank of New York, and held lending positions at Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank.
Ms. Engelson serves on the board of directors for Ameriprise Bank, FSB, a subsidiary of Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE:AMP). She previously served on the board of Medica Health Plans, a $2 billion revenue insurance company. She serves on several other professional and non-profit boards, including the Minnesota State Board of Accountancy. Ms. Engelson has a master of business administration degree from The Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the Honors College at the University of Michigan.
Terri Krivosha is a partner with and former chair of the Maslon Law Firm and has practiced law for 25 years. She is a strategic business advisor who works with business owners to grow and develop their businesses including growth through acquisition as well as development and implementation of exit strategies. She represents a vibrant network of women business owners and women executives and works with them to achieve success. Terri is a member of many professional organizations and trade groups involving women business owners and women executives which gives her an added understanding of the challenges and opportunities women in business face. The Maslon Law firm has also been a leader in the area of gender equity. It was the first recipient of the Minnesota State Bar Association SAGE (Self-Audit for Gender Equity) Best Practices Recognition Award in acknowledgment of its significant contributions made to the achievement of gender equity in the workplace. Terri served as the firms first woman chair from May 2003 through May 2007. In her capacity as chair Terri learned a great deal about the operation of a business, skills she applies to help her clients every day. Terri has been an advisor to many for-profit boards and has been a board member of many nonprofit boards. She currently serves as a Trustee on the Jewish Community Foundation Board.
